Masinde Muliro, Utalii compete for Miss Tourism.

It has been a busy week as the search for the fairest from each county was sought. The winners from each county will be representatives at the Miss Tourism Kenya 2013 finals.
Mombasa county held their finals at scenic Fort Jesus where Habiba Aisha, 23, a sales executive at Toyota Kenya was crowned Miss Tourism Mombasa County.
Meanwhile in a celebration of its own, 16 models competed for the Miss Tourism Elgeyo-Marakwet title. Rachel Ruto, a second year student at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) was crowned fairest of them all.
Ruto couldn't hide her excitement and promised she will use her position to market the county as one of the
leading tourism destinations in the North Rift region. And finally, Kirinyaga County also crowned their own beauty. Wambui Muriithi, 21, could not believe it when her name was announced by the chief judge Martin Gacheru at Roswam Hotel where the event was held.
