Strathmore partners with softlock for security courses.

Strathmore University's iLab has launched a security academy in partnership with Egyptian Security solutions provider, Softlock. The courses to be offered are targeted at students, software developers, security specialists and business executives. The length of the courses will range from 1 day to 10 days, with varying intensity and focus on each of the courses.

The shortest course will be the 1 day course targeted at business executives, which skips the finer details and aims at providing security knowledge and guiding them on how to manage IT risks. A 4 day course is
targeted at security specialists who already have knowledge on security matters and aims at guiding them towards making "informed decisions."

The 7 day course is targeted at students and is more of practical than theoretical. The 10 day course is targeted at software developers and aims at helping them design and deploy their software solutions with security in mind.
