What is the difference between Bachelor of Mechancial engineering and Bachelor of Mechatronic engineering?

Mechanical engineering graduates work in fields as production engineering, energy engineering, processing engineering, and fabrication, as well as in the automotive sector. The mechatronics engineers use the same mechanical engineering skills, but also incorporate a lot of computer programming and robotics into their work. The field is however only picking up in Kenya recently, as most factories have not reached that high
tech advanced level yet. So, for now at least, the job market for mechatroncis engineering graduates and mechanical engineering graduates is pretty much the same. The two coruses both take five years for one to get their undergraduate degree.
